A Life Worth Living

A life worth living
Men utter such words
Without regret in their heart
Nor wrinkle to their touch

Without wisdom in his tongue
Or studder to his step
Many summers in his heart
Two footsteps into his quest

A life worth living
How can you savor such words
Moistening of the pallet
The universe setting into the iris

A map for whats to be seen
Showing you where to look
How to look and what you see
Yet we still miss pertinent things

A life worth living
How can you measure such words
Is the key to expansion in knowing
Or the means to pacify

Neon moons, spirits, and souls
Living lives worth nothing
Beyond the ones irreparably changed
Refusing to bloom for spring

A life worth living
Words i draw on
Relishing nice and slow
Looking for adjoinment

I search for the
Epiphany within you
So that we can be
The uncontested truth
