Question

Like rising from the waters into the darkest cave, devoured by the coldest jaws
Like feeling time and space rush furiously past you in a race to the end
Logic escaping all laws
Because laying down is easier than flying
The answer heard in a place where love is the only denying
The Question
Why is heaven and God so far away and hell and the devil so close
Like knowing things are far nearer to home than most
Like feeling the pain of the past creep into the back of your cognizance, forcing your eyes to shut
Like being powerless to assist change, life spent decaying in one single endless rut
Like never experiencing, but knowing the pain of going without
Because having love and not having love still ends in the feeling of a love that's been lost
Once I was asked to fathom how it would feel to drown in your on tears
Although I haven't reached the point drowning I have helped the waters climb over the years

Harmonic Dreams

Can i retreat
Deep into the darkness
Running to the soothing pace of melancholy
The loudest silence
The symphony of my mind
Can you hear it
The piano solo
Soft notes that soften the interior
Can you feel it
Gentle strokes like finger tips
Reaching for your understanding
It thinks of you
Never forgetting who you are
That you are
Waiting
Waiting for soft notes to catch softer tear drops

The pages of my diary stop flipping in embracing the next words
While the imitation that is birthed from my life stands lonely
Looking for the calm in me the calm in my soul
Waiting for the beauty, a song or maybe just for a story to unfold
But in the advent of the nonsense and the first born daddys little girl
A soon to be father is busy trying to prep for her and clense the world
I am sorry art you are my main love but maybe time away would be great for the both of us

Wednesday Rewind

I know its not Wednesday yet but i dont know when or if i will be able to get on tomorrow, sooo, this is for you guys. I wanted to repost one of my older post, one of my favorites acually. I hope you guys enjoy this one, it came to me during thoughts of what i should right for a friend, but here you guys go. "Autum Leaves"

When you look into my eyes
Do you look into my soul
Can you reflect what I reflect
Or capture what I behold
When you see my many treasures
You may just say they are fallen dead leaves
That I partake in foolish collection
And that they only cloud me
But I say to you even though they have fallen
Me catching them is not utterly absurd
I choose to softly care for them
And the serenity of my peace they do not disturb
I let them resonate through my being
So that they may have a peaceful resting place
They may throw away all their worries
As they float on all my grace
I am fine being this puddle
That catches those who fall
Since i know i cant restore them
Into my being they dissolve

Ultraviolet

As I promised here is another post but before I do, I would just like to say that "The Kool" by Lupe Fiasco is the best album I have heard in a long tome. As a whole it takes the cake, but without further adieu...

Contemplations of phone conversations
An enigma wrapped in several layers of intricacy
This woman’s reason
Like death without rebirth
Or when heaven disintegrates from sheer disgust of earth
I am thinking to myself
Why has she given up
What sense does it make to be so afraid of something that you bring it into existence
Sure the same thing could happen outside of your control but why make death your only persistence
Pain is in growth just like it is in remaining idle
Mayo Angelo quotes being alone best
As a result of when our ignorance prevails
Like the stillness of the sea accompanied by a ship with no sails
As I struggle to emphatuate sanity into her reasoning
An endeavor challenging enough for me, priding myself on choice and never giving up
Trying my best to push through and remain strong
The only explanation she gave me was "These moments as beautiful as they are, are evil when youre gone"

Early Valentines Day Treat

I know I haven't been on in too long forgive me, but I hope this makes up for my remissful behavior. Sorry love.

I slowly sunk into her
Like the way a fine cognac sinks into the bottom of a glass
Running over ice cubes, like I
Like
I
Run tongues over her
Intoxication
Tasting woman
Tasting
Life
Like tasting
Enlightenment
Bite
Giggles
Don't nibble
That
Infact
Taste
My
Kitty kat
Chuckles
Then subtle
Subtle
Swallowing
Of her gittery
Pretty
Kitty
Silly rabbit
My tongue better stimulates her clit
So take the energizer
And
Beat it

I hope you all have a great valentines day. I will be back very soon, hopefully in the next week.

A Poem Entitled Knowlege

I have been trying to keep my poems to myself, for publishing reasons, but if you didn't know, i feel i experience my poetry just as you do. I write to capture the beauty of language that flows through my mind, although it is my poems, i don't claim concrete ownership, life's beauty is the owner, so here you go love(meaning everyone) this is for you.

A poem Entitled Knowledge

We misunderstand the gifts of life
And in the night
We are robbed by figures in masks
That destroy and trash
In search of cash
Or things of value
And we awake to find
That in our mind
Are a thousands thoughts
Of what weve lost
And we sit in bed and rub our heads
Hung in dismay
And the words we say
R
That it was bad
Or what I had
Wasn’t real at all
Because it’s easier to fall
Instead to stand in say I failed to protect
That I shared the neglect
Then move on to the next
We start this chain
Of he’s to blame
She’s to blame
And I won’t blame
You Cuz It eases your pain
But I take on the role
Of the bad guy
So you can be told
That the masked figure
Was you
You destroyed all had
To grab and bag
Something of value
And destroyed and trashed
Anything that cluttered the way
Of you finding a quick pay
A quick fix
Something to go trade in
Redemption from sin
But in the end
You destroyed
The things of real value
For the glittery and gilded
And quick fulfillment

Sorry that I couldn’t deal with you selling yourself short, and didn’t allow you to be less than I knew you should be, sorry that pressure to grow was to much but remember, pain is just the capsule that encloses your knowledge breaking

The love was real, everything we had was real, we just couldn’t maintain it, know that and accept that we failed, don’t say that it wasn’t real, don’t cop out.

Flaws and All

You could never be equated to the sum of any circumstance
You were never seen by any one who stayed a thousand years beyond one glance
Or for that matter anyone who occupied time that was any less
You were never a beautiful smile in a form fitting dress
I never saw you as the women weeping next to the pond under the tree with frozen lifeless leaves
You could never amount to the expectations of freedom homologous to the sunlight in the breeze
Because you are not you
You are beauty besieged to the earth and the lost inhabitants
Who cant see that you are beauty trapped in a derelict body trying to reflect remnants of the enchantress
Your physical body will never portray the beauty within
You have blessed the earth with a thousand births in sequence
Your body has not matched your exorbitant beauty yet
So forget that i will never know all of your beauty
But it is a point i am trying to get
